Do your pupils daydream in class about becoming TikTok Influencers? How about something more worthwhile? How about them being Binfluencers - wanting to make a difference about plastic waste and litter with their hands, not their phones?

Despite lacking traditional artistic skills (I can barely draw a heart on a Valentine’s card!), I found my own creative expression using litter and your children can do the same through an inspiring, interactive, and educational workshop.

The workshop fits with your eco curriculum, is a perfect step towards getting your school’s Green Flag award, and consists of a presentation about plastics and sustainability while touching on healthy eating, a Q&A, and an activity where pupils get the opportunity to create their own mosaics on green cloths. All materials are provided.

“The workshop was very well planned, engaging, and well delivered. The level of information given was pitched appropriately which enabled children to access it. The children were also wowed by the facts presented. It provided them with exposure to another form of art, consolidated their understanding of pollution and gave them real-life experience of repurposing plastic waste.”

“Kieran was exceptionally engaging and fun. The children loved all the short activities. The main activity was great as it helped with team building, communication, and art.”

“The pace and pitch was appropriate and Kieran had the children eating out of his hand as he ignited in them a sense of awe and wonderment. I liked how relatable he made the information by relating to the children’s own environment. Kieran’s passion for art and the environment was evident and this inspired the children. A very brilliant, creative, and innovative workshop.”
